About Me
Hello! Here's a brief background:
Grew up in Central California.
Attended boarding school near Seattle, WA. Moved down to Southern California for college.
I'm right next to Disneyland.
I'm a full time student studying Human Services and Religious Studies!
It's safe to say that I am hopelessly idealistic. Knowledge is power and I hope to gain it from sources outside of academia.
I love talking about religion and sexuality, spirituality, social systems, and transformative justice!
I also work as a barista + intern at a local nonprofit.
I stay pretty busy during the school semester.
Whenever I'm free I love to attend local shows and open mic nights!
I'm Ethiopian and Filipino.
Family is a huge part of my life!
When I travel, it's usually with my twin sister or my cousins.
My dog is my best friend.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My mom and aunties have always been generous and opened their homes to so many different people. We hosted exchange students and friends of friends throughout my childhood. The bonds we all made from living together are unique and still hold true to this day. I'm hoping to experience that same warmth and hospitality and continue building authentic and unique bonds with people from around the world.
Interests
I'm constantly learning and unlearning... Trying to give myself the space to grow in my own timeline. Forever seeking truth and doing my best to harness my own power to be a source of light and love.
