Overview
About Me
I'm half Italian, half Pakistani, but I grew up mainly in Italy.
I am currently studying a Master's degree in the Netherlands.
I recently graduated from university, where I studied gastronomic sciences. We didn't actually have cooking classes, but covered most other disciplines that are somewhat connected to food such as botany, philosophy, microbiology, anthropology etc.
I mostly learned about food sustainability and biodiversity, but also about food traditions, nutrition, how certain foods are made and what determines their quality.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Believe in sharing what we already have, without having to rely on monetised services which tend to alienate us and make us lose the human bond.
It's important to regain touch with the people that surround us.
I have been truly amazed by the hospitality people living all over the world have offered me.
Especially the poorer people living in rural areas have shown me an immense kindness and generosity which never ceases to inspire me.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music is my main driving force.
I listen to most genres and like to discover music from different parts of the world.
I also really enjoy singing and jamming with friends.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One of my most memorable activities was scuba-diving at night right off a remote Indonesian island (Bunaken, for the reference).
I had no clue the sea would be so incredibly gorgeous and alive also at night!
Teach, Learn, Share
Always!
Really, everything is more valuable when shared - whether its knowledge, experiences or material things.
Curiosity, appreciation and sharing are simple keys to a happy life.
Stuff I have a little bit of knowledge on: fermentation, natural cheese-making, distillation, mezcal.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Hugs, tasty food, foodie knowledge.
Happy to teach Italian, English or anything else I can help you with.
