About Me

I've just moved to madrid!

I'm Sara, a philosophy student living in Budapest from september to June. I'm an eramus, I am not the kind of girl who loves going to erasmus parties until dawn.: I prefer going pubs, clubs with different music, concerts or places for meet new interesting people. I also love spend daytime going to restaurants, coffee shops, museums, bookshops, markets...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am interested in travelling around Europe as much as I can and join couchsurfing meetings in my city.

Interests

I like art in all the ways (literature, photography, painting, theatre, cinema, music, and so on), and I enjoy a lot going to places you can see it, talk about it, do it, smell it. I also love cooking and dancing and do a little (little) bit of exercise sometimes.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: post-rock, new wave music, indie music, swing music, jazz music, rock music, gothic rock music, alternative electronic music.
Movies: David Lynch, Gaspar Noé, Paul Thomas Andersn Lars von Trier, Tarkovski and Resnais are my favourite directors. Talking about actual cinema, I found very interesting Birdman, Whiplash, Nebraska, or Her. I also like American Psycho, Donnie Darko or Submarine.
Books: I usually read a lot, so I have a lot of favorite books, for example Infinite Jest, the picture of Dorian Gray, Necrophilia Variations, White Noise... or books from Chuck Palahniuk, Marguerite Duras, Don Dellino, Adichie, Foster Wallace, Philip K Dick, Herman Hesse, Goethe, Sartre... I like poetry too, and I read a lot of philosophical and political essays due to my major (Agamben, Benjamin, Cixous, Rancière, Derrida...)
