Hi there! I'm Sara, I live in Italy and I'm a student. I'd like to meet people from different countries and cultures! I've been living in Norway for 4 months as Erasmus student and since then I can't stay without travel as much as I can :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

At the moment I don't have a "couch" to share, I'm planning to move to a new house soon and maybe there I can find a way. But for now I'll try this app just to meet new people or asking for a place while going abroad.

Interests

I love traveling and meeting new people, I love staying out in the nature maybe listening to music and just chill or having a walk through the mountains.
But I am also a "party animal" 😂 I love partying with friends and I've been to some music festivals around Europe.
I am a dancer, I know a bit of every style, from classical ballet to hip hop and salsa 💃
I like reading, more or less every genre, it depends on the mood and the period of my life and I love everything regarding arts, from paintings and sculpture to poetry, theater and cinema, photography and so on.
I am not a sportive person but I like to watch sports in general, it makes me feel more active! 😂 out of the whole sport world, my favorites are rugby, fence, football and hockey.
I'm basically open-minded so I'm pretty sure I can enjoy and appreciate every kind of topic/hobby 😊

Music, Movies, and Books

Very open-minded, I basically love every genre but of course I have my favorites.
🎶 Linkin Park is definitely my favorite band, together with the more recent Twenty one pilots, but I also like the old rock gold ones (Pink Floyd, the Beatles, Oasis...), indie and folk, edm and dance music and a bit of pop music.
📚 About books I prefer romance and thriller but I also don't dislike a bit of poetry or introspection sometimes. I'm in love with Carlos Ruiz Zafon (all the books about the Cemetery of Forgotten Books) and recently I've read Norwegian Wood (Murakami) which I really enjoyed!
🎥 My very favorite is "Life of Pi" but right after it there come others like Fight Club, the Star Wars saga, the Marvel saga (yes I'm a bit geek 🤓), Interstellar and basically all those which have a plot twist at the very end.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

While I was in Norway I've been hiking with some friends in Odda (22km) and we climb it to the top to Trolltunga! That was amazing, the landscape there was unbelievable!
Also in Norway I will never forget the trip we made to the Lofoten enjoying the northern lights the night of my birthday 😍

I am an Italian mother tongue so if you want I will be glad to help you with it. I am quite fluent also in English and currently I am learning Dutch. Ik wil graag met iemand Nederlands spreken :)
I am not an excellent cook but I can try to make you an Italian dish, such as tiramisù!
I can teach you salsa if you'd like 😁
