About Me
After three years trying to settle down in Paris, I recently moved in Hamburg. It took me a while to learn to love Paris and as soon as I successed in I left it! With Hamburg I direct fell in love, so I'm now curious to see how it will go staying here longer... :)
After having used Couchsurfing only as a surfer for a while, I really kept enjoying the experience as a host, and loved to show Paris to my guests, which allowed me to know more and more my city and to like it a bit deaper every day!
Now in Hamburg I'm unfortunately not as confortable to host people as I don't have anymore spare room, but I'm still keen on meeting new people :) And if any travelers are ok to share a tiny room and sleep on the floor, you're welcome to write me a request :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I think Couchsurfing is a gorgious idea to meet local people and make of your travel a totally different experience, especially in the western countries, where the unbidden hospitality isn't anymore something usual. I confess I've started couchsurfing for economic motivations but now I know that I wouldn't travel differently even if I was a millionaire! So I don't mind that people start using couchsurfing as a free place to crash, if it let them the chance to discover how much more it is.
Interests
Travelling, learning languages, anthropology, hiking, tramping, camping, as well as sketching (even if the result is seldom nice...), singing (even if I'm a very bad singer ;-), kidcare, comics, theater, cooking especially backing, and eating !

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: no big knowleges about, but would say more country, folk, rock, than metal, electro, or opera neither.. But always happy to discover new stuff though.
Books: I read meanly graphic novels (Lewis Trondheim, Joan Sfar, Guy Delisle...), I used to read a lot of travel book, but since my long trip, they weirdly don't let me dream as much. Harry Potter of course, as a main part of my generation ;)
.
Movies: (just a few as exemples): Amelie, Le Chocolat, Once, About time, Lullaby, Gadjo Dilo, Joyeux Noel, inception, The sound of music, Harry Potter, old french movies by Marcel Pagnol...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Make real a dream I had for so many years, which was living my country by fair-means toward the east... and keep going east till reaching back home from the other side, becoming aware by this way that the Earth is round!

Teach, Learn, Share
I love learning foreign languages, mainly those I already know a bit, but even any else. I would be glad to teach french and love talk, learn and laugh about languages. I love learning cooking as well. Actually I quite like learning in general, and learning by listening others is maybe not the best way but for sure my favourite! I love sharing travel stories, different traditions and so on. As a host, I love make discover Paris, I like having foreigner's point of view of my city, my culture, my lifestyle. It helps me to keep open-minded, and to not forget how lucky I am.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Good talks, good food, good experiences.. At least that's what I hope !
As a guest, I can sleep anywhere, even just on the ground in a corridor, I don't mind, I'm really easy about that. Every experience has its part of charm!
And as a host, unfortunatly not much place, but good advices about hamburg :)
