Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To make friends in every country I travel to and experience the culture from a more local perspective. Throughout my couchsurfing experiences, I've met wonderful people with whom I still keep in touch and I learnt so much from them. Also, couchsurfers' places are usually located in a more rural/ outside area which I personally much more prefer than staying in city centres.

Movie: Tarantino and Guy Richie Movies for sure- Cafe de Flore- I Origins-Coraline-One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest - The Godfather-Fight Club-City of God etc. Movies with Marilyn Monroe, Robert De Niro, Al Pachino, Joe Pesci, Brad Pitt, Johnny Depp, Tom Hardy and Jason Statham. Love cartoons and animes as well, but it would take too long to list all.
Books: Favourite ones are Russian writers: both classics and contemporary (Dostoyevsky, Tolstoy, Nabokov, Pelevin, Sorokin) but also Gabriel Garcia Marquez. Oscar Wilde, E.T.A. Hoffman, Bronte sisters, etc....

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Teaching English at a big Foundation in Cambodia. The connection I developed with those kids and the lessons I learnt from them are the most precious!
