About Me
I love learning language, travel and meeting new people. I'm learning Spanish and can speak conversationally! HMU with that quality convo, yo. I'm always looking for practice buddies. I'm half Chinese — so I'm also trying to improve my Mandarin and Cantonese, as well. I'm known to talk your ear off and share some great stories.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I went to Cuba without telling my parents. Once during a conversation with my dad, I slipped and said "In Havana, it's hard to eat vegetarian..." Like the smooth operator I am, I saved myself by correcting it to "Little Havana" in Miami. The speed with which I invented that lie even scared me, but in desperate times...?
We drove in "machinas" (old American cars from the 1950s) across the island, carpooling with random strangers. We were packed like sardines in the back of a rusty car. My travel partner and I got into a very heated argument with a 40-year-old Cuban father about women's rights and the differing definitions of "beauty". We had different opinions, but we were still friends in the end, of course.
Most recently, I went to Bonnaroo 2018 Music Festival, where I saw Tash Sultana, T-Pain, Muse, Eminem, Japanese Breakfast. It was a triiiiip.
