About Me
!! OBS. Please do not message me or accept my hosting request if you're looking to hook up. There are plenty of dating sites for you to do that, CS is not one! Kindly f*ck off if that's your intention. I want to build friendships and learn about your culture, that's it. !!
Hej, I'm Sara 🌸🌿🏔
I'm from Copenhagen, but everywhere and nowhere has been my home for the past seven years since I bought a one-way ticket to see the world.
I’ve spent the past years chasing stories and experiences rather than stability.
Most recently I did a 3 year stint, working on boats, but it was never my calling, so I'm happy to have strapped my backpack on again to keep exploring.
These days I travel with a lot more intention. I'm not interested in crossing things off a list – I seek nature, movement, calm, connection and gaining new skills.
If you host me, I'll bring a genuine interest in your life and your corner of the world. I'll also bring stories, good energy, and respect for your space
I am obviously cleanly and respectful, and I don't mind helping out with a few household chores if you provide a safe sanctuary for me for a few days.
If you feel like checking out my adventures, you can find most of them on my insta @sarafondo
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because it is the greatest lesson in humanity one could ever get
Interests
I consider myself an intercreative who loves telling stories in writing, audio or video. I love reading books. I love walking with no destination, just letting my curiosity lead. I enjoy connecting with people and peeling off the first few layers, so we get down to the real stuff. I'm an avid hiker and love everything outdoors.

Music, Movies, and Books
There are too many books to sum up here - but the first thing I do whenever I enter someone's home is to check out their bookshelf.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I travelled the world for 17 months nonstop across three continents, lived on a sailboat for one year, won an award for a radio documentary. But the most amazing thing I continually do is trying to live a life that feels authentic to me.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can share many travel tales from my adventures around the world. I'd love to learn what made you, you. We can share a moment of connection and maybe a nice meal.
What I Can Share with Hosts
A kind heart, many stories
