Hi there! I'm Sara, love creativity in every way possible so my hobbies are varied, but some examples are pottery, stain glass, painting, writing, cooking, baking, cartooning, ukulele, song writings, singing and gardening. I grew up with the wilderness in my backyard so I love nature. I love to hike, camp, and explore. I'd really like to see of much of this world as I can, and make some friends along the way.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think Couchsurfing is a great way to see new places because its nice to reach out in friendship to people all around the world in communities that you are visiting. Plus it is really nice to have someone who knows the area and can give you good advice about what to see.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music -Music that makes me feel or want to dance.
Movies- movies that are well filmed with good story lines. Or feel goods. I really like studio ghibly, Wes Anderson films, and movies like "youth", "I heart huckabees" brother's bloom" "wristcutters a love story ( not as depressing as it sounds, it has Tom Waits in it.)"
Books- I am guilty of liking books like Hunger Games, but I also like Margret Atwood, and I 've read like 10 travel autobiographies ( So good, great descriptive writing styles)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think what I am doing currently is pretty neat. I work at Mosaika Montreal. It's a artistic mosaic studio that does grand scale mosaics for places like airports, subways and hospitals. Currently they are working with Chuck Close and doing realistic portraits with tiny square pieces.

But I have also gone down a giant sand pit on a crazy carpet.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I pride myself in "iron chefing" or in other words seeing what odd items are in the fridge and making a meal out of it. I also like to do dishes. And I am always down for an adventure or art collaborations.
