I'm a philosophy graduate student living in NYC, but I love to travel and am trying to do so on a really tight budget (aka a humanities grad student budget). Love exploring cities with new people, telling stories until late in the night, making awkward yet charming jokes, and documenting everything in my journal. That humanities grad school stipend is SMALL, but I still want to travel, and part of traveling for me means meeting new people. I've stayed in many hostels before, but would like to try a new experience.

Movies... I really like a mixture of sappy/dramatic movies and comedies mainly.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I moved to France without speaking a single word of the language. And then learned stick shift the first week I was there to boot. The stick shift is probably more impressive here.
