Overview
About Me
I am musician who likes to write, jam, and tinker with my instruments - I'm currently learning how to build guitars!
I like to hang out with friends, work in my garden and cook home meals.
In my travels, I've been able to work on two permaculture farms in India, teach English in China and swim with piranhas in the Amazon! I've gotten to go to some awesome music festivals and have driven from Seward, Alaska to Austin, Texas.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I first used couch surfing in India and have found it to be very reliable because of the rating and review system, having someone's opinion on a host or traveler makes a huge difference! I also think this is a really good way to save money and have a great experience!
Interests
I love to travel and meet people, learn new recipes and discover new things. I love seeing the local music scene and getting fresh air in the mountains.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
While kayaking in the ocean in a channel of the Alaskan coast, I was visited by a pod of orca. That was possible the most terrified I've ever been for my life!
Teach, Learn, Share
I don't have much to teach other than a few guitar chords maybe. Whenever a host wants to hang out, I'd love to learn about an area from a local! And I'm always down to share a conversation.
What I Can Share with Hosts
First of all, I love music and love to play with other people! But seriously, I find value in being a part of, so I find it important to show hosts I'm grateful by helping around the house whether that means helping to cook or do dishes. I can cook a little and am happy to help if needed!
