About Me
A well know german song says "It's not your fault that the world is as it is, but it is your fault if it stays this way" (Die Ärzte - Deine Schuld). So here I am trying to leave the world a least a little bit better even if sometimes this means only making other people smile. As a part of a bigger picture I am trying my best to lower my carbon footprint (by following a mainly vegetarian diet, travelling by bike or feet on a daily basis and incorporating parts of the zero-waste lifestyle).
I like to challenge my views and opinions by meeting people from different backgrounds (ethnic, religious etc.) and by this understand the world a bit better.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am couchsurfing to meet local people while travelling, get to know the country/city from the perspective of the people who live their daily life there and listen to other travellers' stories.

Music, Movies, and Books
I am very into drama from the 50ties and 60ties. My favorite playwright is Friedrich Dürrenmatt ("The Physicists", "The Visit"). I also like "Tango" (Sławomir Mrożek) and "Waiting for Godot" (Samuel Beckett).
I also like some contemporary writers as the polish Szczepan Twardoch and Ignacy Karpowicz and german Benedict Wells.
My favorite musicians are Siri Nilsen and Moddi, but I listen to every song I consider interesting despite the genere. Therefore rap musicians like Rasmentalism, Watsky or Taco Hemingway can also be found on my playlist.
I don't watch a lot of films, but "Zootopia" was an exeption and I could watch it over and over again if only I had the time...
