Overview
About Me
I'm a mother, partner, friend and teacher. I really like looking at the stars and the clouds, feeling my bare feet on the ground, and swimming in fresh water. I've lived in NYC, in a cabin in the woods, and many places in between. I have an uncanny ability to pick a container or jar that's just the right size for what needs to be poured into it.
I may be travelling with my family. My spouse, Myk, is a professional musician who plays lap steel and guitar in various groups/styles including jazz, klezmer, Turkish, and Americana. He is also a tarot reader and yogi. Our kids are 11 and 7 and love family trips, stories, board games, playing outside, playing music, making stuff, and, at the moment, rubiks cubes.
Myk and I have had many years of experience living with housemates and in intentional community in various ways. We know how to clean up after ourselves, listen and communicate, be aware of others' needs, and cook big pots of soup.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love many kinds of music, but often what I reach for these days is simple voice + acoustic instruments. I tend to read nonfiction but when I do read novels I get really into them. These days, I am consuming more podcasts than other media.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
It's quite ordinary, but raising children is the most challenging and amazing thing I have done so far.
Teach, Learn, Share
I just learned a song to help figure out whether the moon is waxing or waning. I can definitely teach that to you.
What I Can Share with Hosts
a sense of humor, a helping hand, a meal or a walk, a place to stay
Myk can offer a tarot reading. He's amazing at it.
