About Me

I'm a 21 year old girl from Cologne, Germany.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

First of all, because I need a place to stay on my travels. But I also really want to meet new, cool people, learn new things and just become friends with someone who was just a stranger yesterday.

Interests

I play tennis and I used to play field hockey. I like reading and listening to music. Traveling is one of my favorite things to do. I like exploring new cities, new things, new people. I find joy in the smallest things. I also like sitting on the beach watching the sunset with my friends and a bottle (or should I say can.. Canadian beer sucks) of beer.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to all different kinds of music, but especially Alternative, Indie, Acoustic. Some of my favorite artists and bands are Ed Sheeran, Sam Smith, Blink 182, Frank Ocean, alt-J, Bloc Party, Banks, Glass Animals, Caribou and so many more.

My favorite movies would have to be Catch me if you can, Harry Potter (obviously!), The Fault in our Stars, LOL (only the French version!), The Great Gatsby

My favorite books are kind of similar to my favorite movies. I love Harry Potter, The fault in our Stars, The Great Gatsby, but my absolute favorite book by far is "Where Rainbows End" by Cecilia Ahern. I've read it at least 8 times now and I know I will never get bored of this book.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Going on a road trip down the US west coast with two of my friends, sleeping in our car, exploring cities we've never been to and just living life to the fullest. Best six weeks of my life so far.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm a pretty decent cook so I would be more than happy to prepare a nice dinner or lunch or breakfast or even all three. I would also share my beer and fun stories (and if a German says they'd share their beer.. that must mean something!)
