Hello, I am Sara.

I am from the capital of Slovakia, Bratislava, and I am currently studying Global Sustainable Development at the University of Warwick in the UK.

I enjoy walks that give me time to think, hiking and nature. I am a vegetarian due to environmental reasons and I try (and often fail of course) to live sustainably. I also get really passionate about books, non-traditional forms of education, and mental health and would greatly enjoy discussing any of these topics with you.

I love finding connection and understanding through conversations (preferably over coffee or wine) and I look forward to finding those within the couchsurfing community!

For me travelling was always more about who I am with than where I go. I believe that people create the atmosphere of a city and that is what matters most to me when I visit a new place. I am also new here so it is all very exciting :)

I am currently unable to host because I live with my family, but would love to do so sometime in the future.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

During my high school studies I spent 2 weeks on the streets of Bratislava living with people without homes as a part of a social study in order to better understand homeless people and their experiences (I am still processing this though and would gladly welcome your help).
