About Me
**I DO NOT HOST MEN ON THEIR OWN AND I AM NOT INTERESTED IN CHATTING ON HERE OR BEING ADDED AS A FRIEND IF WE'VE NEVER MET BEFORE. THANK YOU.**
I'm a freelance translator, born and raised in Ferrara (Italy), moved to the UK for my Erasmus year in 2005 and never really left :-) I have lived in Exeter, Manchester and Lincoln.
I love languages (I speak Italian, English, French and a bit of German), dogs and photography. I enjoy running, hiking, strength training, snorkelling and sea kayaking. Oh, and eating. Especially pizza (I am italian after all...).
My biggest passion, however, is travelling. I love exploring new places and meeting new people from all over the world.

Music, Movies, and Books
Queen, Green Day and Coldplay fan, but I do like some pretty cheesy music...
My gym playlists always include David Guetta, whom I saw performing live in Belfast in June 2023!
Jonathan Safran Foer, Matt Haig and Liane Moriarty are my favourite contemporary writers. I also really enjoyed One Day by David Nicholls, and most of Nick Hornby's books.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Swam in complete darkness at night surrounded only by bioluminescent phytoplancton near Krabi, Thailand: it was like swimming in a starry sky and I'll never forget that night!
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm not a great teacher... but I can learn :-)
What I Can Share with Hosts
Knowledge about the places I've been, fun stories, advice, friendship.
I'm not a great cook, so please don't expect me to cook Italian food for you during my stay: it's better that way, believe me! To thank you for your hospitality, I can take you out for a coffee, a meal or a drink instead. And if there's anything you'd like me to bring you from Lincoln or the UK in general, just let me know :-)
