About Me
Hello!! I'm Sara, 35 years old from Florence! I am a psychologist and I love to travel, visit in new places and meet new people! Most of my life I have lived in Florence, but I have also lived in Rome, Barcelona, Madrid. Then I lived one year in Ecuador, where I worked in a shelter for battered women and then backpacked for a few months in Colombia! Then I lived in Bolivia for a year doing another volunteer project, then again Colombia, Italy during Covid and I have been in Iraq for 6 months with Medecins sans frontieres. Soon I return to Italy and go on vacation!!!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I backpacked in South America 5 years ago and it was my first time couchserfing. I think it's a great way to travel because it's cheap and allows you to meet local people, which for me is the best way to get to know the culture of a country, go in the tipical places and really enjoy the trip! During my travel in Colombia I found out that people often help and support you just to help you, and this seems incredible to me. And now I am sure that when you give, what you have given somehow always comes back to you. I had really good experiences with couchserfing! unfortunately I currently cannot host travelers (thee few time I stay in Florence I live in my mother's house), but I am available for any information and to go out and get to know my beautiful city!
Interests
Me encanta viajar más que todo! Conocer nueva gente, nuevas culturas y lugares. :)
