About Me

Hi folks!
I am 24 from north Italy, living in London at the moment where I'm doing a Masters in Environment & Development.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

So, briefly, I love traveling and I love people! Couchsurfing is the perfect combination of these two elements so here I am.

Interests

After having tried without success various instruments when I was a child, I discovered at 15yo that my voice was my instrument. So since then I've been studying for it and I've tried also one year of opera. I love singing! It calms me down a lot when I'm nervous (not that it happens often though, I'm always energetic :-p )

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm really into movies much more than books, I have to admit it: I am a bad reader! I usually have from 4 to 5 books always read at half and left for too long time in the dust. Yeah, I feel ashamed for that! Nevertheless, I have some books that I read eagerly and that gave me really much. Above all, "The idiot" and "The brothers Karamazov" from Dostoevskij are the best ones.
I love cinema of good quality and I have a list of 2/3 hundreds movies I want to/have watched in my life that I avidly keep and update. The directors I prefer are first of all Kubrick, then Sorrentino, Pasolini, Kusturica, Lars von Trier, Andersen, Malick, I like Almodovar but not crazy for him. And then some random movies like "Mr Nobody" and "Train the vie". Last but not least: I'm in love with Miyazaki, I watched all his movies, even the ones he didn't direct but just wrote the screenplay; it's simply poetry for me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have walked for almost 800 km in the pilgrimage in north of Spain called Camino de Santiago.

Teach, Learn, Share

Well, I love cooking and I love eating!!
I can share all I know and the happiness I try to always bring with me!
I'm a really curious person, so I'm avid to learn new things about this world and the people around me.
