About Me

I’m a curious, friendly American who values positive energy, playfulness, conscious communication, and authenticity. I love travelling, but prefer staying longer in a place, developing deeper connections.

I grew up in Florida, spent 15 years in London, and the past three in Asia. Would like to continue exploring a digital nomad lifestyle.

Philosophy:
Embrace being out of your comfort zone, because growth and magic lives there!
Be present.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like connecting with locals and other travellers. I’ve had good experiences meeting people through CS events and hangouts.

Interests

I love deep conversations and cozy pubs, decadent late breakfasts out, tasting new foods, tango and kizomba dancing, singing, playing piano, table tennis, reading, fringe theatre, storytelling, breathwork, tantra, board games and hiking.

Music, Movies, and Books

If I currently had a bookshelf, you’d find books by Murakami, Anais Nin, Persepolis, Middlesex, Captains of the Sands, Gone Girl, Snakes and Earrings, The Ethical Slut, and The Gifts of Imperfection. Love Science Fiction and easy page-turners as well.

I love classic British comedies like The Office, Faulty Towers, and Peep Show. Also into Stranger Things, Black Mirror, Big Mouth, Ted Lasso and Rick & Morty.

I tend to listen to Indie, folk and blues, with a dash of pop.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiked part of the Camino de Santiago
Slept in a felucca on the Nile
Spent a summer living in Budapest
Lived in Goa for two years, including the monsoon!

Teach, Learn, Share

I would like to learn more Spanish!

What I Can Share with Hosts

My enthusiasm and interest in your culture, your city, your thoughts and experiences! Throw some piano music my way and I'll serenade you, or teach you simple songs on the ukulele.
