About Me

Hello! <3

I'm Sara, a 24 year old girl from Italy. I'm living in Berlin, my dream city, where I plan to remain long-term.

My fav activities here include trips to lakes and parks, rollerskating in Tempelhof, checking ouy avantgarde exhibitions - there's a ton! -, cheap spas visits, shibari sessions in funny places, candle-lit bars hopping, watching theatre performances, a little clubbing here and there.

I'm a big traveller and I'm really into finding cheap solutions for great, local experiences. This is where Couchsurfing comes in handy :) I really look forward to meeting new people and discovering the secrets of the places they live in.

Let's go!

Music, Movies, and Books

In a nutshell 🥜:

🎧 I love experimental and electric jazz, sometimes use techno to study, but if I'm feeling for something more chill I love groovy stuff like Glass Animals. Also big on hip hop, especially from Italy and the U.S.!

🎥 I have a pure and absolute love for Sergio Leone.

📚 Infinite Jest will always be my all time fav, The Crying of Lot 49 changed my way of thinking, a lot of stuff by Philip Roth stuck with me, anything by Sarah Kane - technically theatre, don't know if it countsz

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Some of my favourites...

X Lived in a theatre commune in Frankfurt.

X Wrote my Bachelor's thesis on rave parties and Dionysian rituals.

X Started a podcast on obscure theatre plays and ended up airing it on an international radio in Hamburg.

X Reported from a fishermen village in Tunisia.

Teach, Learn, Share

I still have a long way before I can teach anything to anyone. What I can do is talk about my own journey and hope it's inspiring in any way to the people who are listening. I'm very eager to discuss sexuality and gender identity, as these are topics really close to me + which I've reflected on for a long time!

I'd love to learn about what each host loves of the place where they live, the secret spots, the memories attached to them and so on.

I want to share meals, chess games, walks, life stories.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Vegetarian recipes, chess challenges, cool stories, music recommendations, excitement!
