About Me

I'm an art student with ambitions to create installation artwork. My interests include trying new things, going to museums, and eating as much as I can. I have a cat, that sometimes travels with me, and sometimes stays at home. My aspirations are to become a practicing artist, and to take up residency in places other than home as often as possible. I have been told that I always have a smile on my face, so that's pretty nice. I have a pretty active Instagram (feel free to check me out at @avant_gosh), to further prove I'm a real person.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to travel, but I hardly ever have the budget to do it. I've got friends everywhere, but a lot of the time they're in student housing, and have a lot of commitments when I travel. Couchsurfing will provide me the opportunity of making a new friend, all the while exploring the world!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One time, I was 17 and living in Colombia, and I got jet-sprayed by a tank that was trying to break up some students protesting the public university. I caught it on video, and made a video series about the time I was living there.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I think I am a pretty genuine person, and it's really easy for me to get pretty deep pretty quickly. I love talking to people, and getting to know them, so long as they want to be get-to-known. I'm also an artist, but not necessarily one who draws. I like to make some cool collages, and will bring you a collage to keep in memory of me. My goals are to radiate positivity as much as possible, without being obnoxiously happy-go-lucky.
