Hey 😊 I'm Sara, I'm 23 years old and I'm from a little town in mid Argyll on the west coast of Scotland. It's about 2.5 hours drive from Glasgow, and about 3.5 hours drive from Edinburgh. Busses are only 3-4 times a day from Glasgow so bear this in mind if you plan to visit the area :-)). It's a rural area, and there are islands and beaches and forests nearby.

Books wise, I've enjoyed some of the Rebus series by Ian Rankin, and also the Mortal Instruments series by cassandra clare. Got back into reading recently and been enjoying a lot of crime fiction books!

TV series I've enjoyed are 'Friday Night Dinner' 'the office' 'top gear' 'the grand tour' 'clarksons farm'

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have crossed the country of Tajikistan entirely on foot, from the border with Afghanistan to the border with China, completing roughly a marathon a day for 7 days straight

Climbed 5 mountains over 2 days, and camped overnight in the hills during this, with a group. It was really challenging walking up so many mountains with heavy camping gear, but it was an incredible experience.

Going to Italy and being able to see the dolomites was also amazing!

Moped-ing through a town in rural China, and meeting locals and eating with them where they cooked food over a fire

Used worldpackers to volunteer in a hostel in Latvia for a month, this was such a lovely experience :-))

I have also been skydiving twice!

I have been trying to travel more over the last year, and in doing so have met lots of different people and got to know other lives and other experiences :-))

Teach, Learn, Share

I can attempt to teach some Scottish country dances, or some Scottish words, or some Scottish songs if you're interested in learning :-)) Sadly I don't have the Scottish accent because my parents are English :-)) and I don't speak Gaelic either unless you count counting to 10 😂
