Hello, my name is Sara, and I'm 23 years old. The reason why I want to be involved with Couchsurfing. is for a learning experience, and meeting new friends. I also am learning German, and hope to improve when I travel to Europe this year. When I travel to other countries, I would like to learn more about culture because I think it's important to learn about other perspectives. I want to experience life as if it were new to me, and would like to experience it through travel.

I am also working on building my skills in music and writing. The instruments I play are guitar and piano. I started playing some guitar six years ago, but I haven't played it consistently for six years. I started to work more with it about a year ago. I have been playing the piano for about fourteen years, and I have been working with it more often for the past year also. I am always looking for people to play music with! I often enjoy playing it by myself, but I also like to play music in group. Although I haven't taken lessons, I love to sing too.

I have been working as a Personal Care Worker for almost four years. I help the people I work with strive for their independence. I also have experience working in jobs for caring for people who are physically and developmentally disabled. The job that I have has built my character, and I have learned more about communication.

The qualities that describe me is that I'm respectful and honest. I like going out of my way to help people who are in need. I believe that if more people help each other, we would live with more compassion.
