Overview
About Me
Hi! I am a recent grad of Georgia Tech where I studied mechanical engineering. I just moved to Southeast Texas for work. I have lived all over the east coast of the United States including Washington DC, Maryland, Ohio, Florida, Mississippi and Georgia. I love to travel!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love meeting people on the road and have made some of my best friends traveling. I'm thankful to have room to host now.
Interests
I LOVE art! If you see me I will likely have a sketchbook in hand and I love to paint in my spare time. I love to spend long, rainy days in art museums. I play piano and listen to all kinds of music. Food is another passion - both eating and cooking. I will eat practically anything (far from a picky eater) but my favorites are soul food from my Grandmothers' kitchens: fried okra, mashed potatoes, pot roast, butter beans, collard greens... yum! Trying new foods is one of my favorite things about traveling.

Music, Movies, and Books
My favorite music is probably southern rock or indie rock, but I love a variety. My favorite movie is Spirited Away, but again, too many to choose from! My favorite books are The Kite Runner, The Sorrow of War and a Vincent VanGogh biography.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Traveled for 6 months around the world after I graduated.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Art, food and good company! I would always be happy and willing to cook for my hosts. I would also love to make art with them or leave my host with a token of my gratitude in some form of art.
