Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love travelling and sometimes hostels are great, but sometimes you actually want to chat to someone from the place you're at and not just rely on the guidebooks/internet/travel myths! There are only so many games of beer pong i can play before i get bored and actually want to engage with some locals and learn something new.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love most music except for really heavy metal i guess...!

As for books i love anything by Roald Dahl and sometimes more grown up books about politics and philosophy and stuff. Currently reading two books simultaneously, one on a female Muslim refugee from Somalia and one on a misanthropic man living in small town America...this gives you an idea of how eclectic my tastes can be!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Um...i let a lion lick my hand once. Living and teaching English to kids on the coast of Colombia has definitely been an amazing experience too. The two experiences are not related!!
