About Me

I've lived in England and Sweden and I just recently moved to the US.
I'm Italian, born and raised. Currently I live in Salem, Massachusetts and will be here until July 2018. I'm a student at Salem State and I work as a nanny.
After I got my BA in Languages in Venice I decided to leave to take some time off. I hoeped I would find my way but I still have no plans for the future whatsoever.
Who knows where I'll go next!

I've traveled a bit in Europe and I've been to few places in the US already but am planning to travel more in the future!
On my whishlist: Las Vegas, Philadelphia, Seattle, Miami, Seoul, Copenhagen, Budapest and Tallinn. Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to experience a new way of traveling. I'm kind of tired of googling "top 20 things to see or do" and then find myself in tourist traps. I wanna see the city through the eyes of someone who lives there and can suggest a nice place to grab something to eat or drink or a hidden spot only the locals know about.
Plus making friends ain't that shabby either.

Interests

On a day to day basis I don't have much free time. I've recently started going to the gym on a regular basis. Before I would binge watch on anything. I've watched several TV series in the past. In the past couple months I've started learning Korean (by myself) and then gave up.
Besides that I like to hang out with my friends and get out of my house whenever I have the chance!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love horror movies, thrillers and rom-com. Growing up my birthday parties always turned into sleepovers, we were watching at least 2 horror movies every time. At the moment, I try to go to the cinema at least once a month not to miss out on any movie I might like!

I'm always listening to something on Spotify. The genre changes according to my mood but I pretty much listen to anything besides rock, metal or jazz.

I used to be an avid reader growing up, not so much after I got into college, but am open to any book suggestion.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Holding a snake in a zoo in Australia when I was 17 was probably the only real amazing thing I've done.

I once got lost in London when I was 12 and managed to find my way back, which surprised me too.

On the other hand, when I attempted to change a flat tire at 11pm in an empty parking lot in Sweden I totally failed and had to ask for help.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to be the best Clue player ever.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Cannot really say I can cook the most delicious Italian meal you'll ever enjoy but I can still bribe you with my friends' skills!
I'm horrible at beer pong but it can be hilarious to see me try.
