About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Wisdom.

ABOUT ME

I enjoy the sweet little things all around us. I call them everyday miracles and believe they give a sense of glory to every moment in this world. This way a person always has a reason to be happy and grateful.

PHILOSOPHY

Heart knows.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I share the idea, I have hosted, been hosted, wrote a seminar on the connection between CouchSurfing and anthropology.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first experience with CS friends was exploring the north of Poland with a crazy (in the best possible way) student of medicine. If it wasn't for her and her friends I would never have been to one of the best jazz concerts - in a church! :) Nor would I have experienced what it feels like for a car to break down in the middle of a forest on your way to Hel(l) ... And the heaven that awaits at the end when returning to a warm cosy appartment full of happy people cooking Italian dinner.
Many lovely things meet you when meeting the locals on your way. It's always a plus to see the place from their point of view.
Not to mention all the stories you get to hear when hosting and being hosted.

Interests

Nature, writing, music (it is hard to stop me singing), dance (mostly swing dance), traveling when possible, learning in every moment, reading good books and watching good movies, smiling as often as I can and so on.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books: Initiation by Elisabeth Haich, Brida by Coelho, Living With the Himalayan Masters by Swami Rama, Grandfather's Blessings by Rachel Naomi Remen, Autobiography of a Yogi by Yogananda, Guardians of the Tall Stones by Moyra Caldecott, My Winnie the Pooh, The Lord of the Rings, Three Cups of Tea etc.Music: film music, music from all over the world, music that can take me far away, music that makes me wanna dance, sends shivers down my spine or makes a meditation colorful.Movies: the ones that pass messages and the ones that tell stories. August Rush, Out of Africa, The English Patient, One Giant Leap 1&2, Bridges of Madison County, Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter and Spring, Disney cartoons, Ashes and Snow etc.But with books, music and movies it really depends on the mood I'm in. Generally I love those that can touch me and move me, possibly even change me.
