About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To travel the world in my free time; to help the world in my day job.
ABOUT ME
I love to travel the world, meet new people, and experience new things. I am always willing to try something new and love how surprising life can be.
I am a High School teacher, an amateur writer, an avid reader and watcher of television. I spend as much time as I can outdoors either hiking, biking, playing tennis, or running.
I love to bake, and have been a vegetarian (slash terrible vegan) for nearly six years now.
PHILOSOPHY
Try to accept everyone for who he/she is. Love everyone regardless.
Interests
Reading, writing, anything outdoors (hiking, biking, running, tennis), cooking, pilates, yoga, learning, diet coke, music. I typically spend my free days doing something outdoors, but at night, I'm usually going downtown to the bars to hang out or listen to music.

Music, Movies, and Books
Dystopian novels. Atwood, Vonnegut, Wilde, Joyce, Fitzgerald, Gladwell, Zusak.
Indie/folk music with a side of left over punk pop fascination from my teen years.
Movie-wise I'm pretty eclectic: everything from indie movies to musicals to comedies.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The most amazing thing I've ever seen was a glow-worm cave in New Zealand. There were hundreds of thousands of tiny glowing lights, and we floated through the cave on lean-back boats.
Teach, Learn, Share
Most of my knowledge is mental: I teach Literature and have taught Latin. I also write quite frequently, and can help others with their projects! I, however, can teach preliminary pilates.
I'd love to improve my Spanish, so Spanish-speakers are a big plus!
