ABOUT ME

I could sum myself up briefly as a creative, intelligent and sensitive person. My main cares and priorities in life are my family and friends, the environment, sustainability, and the welfare of others. I find joy in the happiness of others, and find peace in nature and human kindness.

Interests

I run a lion conservation project in Kenya, which involves a lot of driving around in the bush looking for lions (fun), getting stuck in the mud/on rocks/in rivers/with flat tyres (novelty wears off), taking photographs of and naming said lions (fun), trying to stop them being killed by people (difficult), and spending lots of time with loud American tourists (not fun).

I love music, nature, the outdoors, science, and artistic creativity. I'm usually in the middle of some sort of art project and always have to keep busy. I would like nothing more than to travel, and aspire to see as much of the world as I can, finances permitting! I try to get out to the Lakes or other wilderness areas when I'm in the UK.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

This is a hard question... though I am not well travelled (yet) I have too many happy memories and experiences from my life in Kenya to mention. I have also experienced real kindness in others, and met some wonderful people to whom I owe a great deal.
