I'm an easy-going, open-minded person. I like to have long heart-to-hearts over coffee or tea and I love meeting new people and discovering new things. Mad about travelling! I also love art, music, languages, films, reading, and going out with friends.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have used couchsurfing twice as a couchsurfer and I hosted a few people when I had my own place in Santander, Spain. I'm not in a position to host right now but I'm interested in meeting up with travellers and people who live in Barcelona.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Stayed for 6 days with a host in Montreal and had a very positive experience. Stayed with a host in Toronto for one night and had a great time. I hosted Couchsurfers twice in Spain and I have taken part in Couchsurfing events in Spain and in São Paulo.

Interests

I love art, music, reading, creative writing, sports, languages, cinema, coffee. I like spending time with family and friends or on my own sketching or writing. I play drums so I spend a lot of time doing that. Right now, travelling, learning languages, and discovering new places are my main missions.

Music, Movies, and Books

Volver by Almodovar is one of my favourites, along with Fantastic Mr. Fox. I love world cinema, especially Spanish films and French. I love comic books and modern fiction. My favorite books have to be The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Klay, Fall on your Knees, and too many more to mention. Some of my favourite music is Miike Snow The Strokes, Grimes, Holly Miranda, The Black Keys, Neil young, Bruce Springsteen, Lisa Hannigan, Tame Impala, Odesza. I also love Arrested Development, Broad City, The Office, Curb Your Enthusiasm, and the Wire.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I did my Padi Open Water Diver course in the crystal clear waters off a tiny island in Indonesia. That was a truly amazing experience.

Teach, Learn, Share

I speak English, Brazilian Portuguese, Spanish (un poco) and French (my French is quite rusty though) and would be happy to teach anyone if they want to learn. I'm trying to learn more Spanish so I'd love some help with that! I can play the guitar, drums and a wee bit of piano and would be happy to teach also.
