About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To find beauty in everything around me and leave others feeling happier...

ABOUT ME

I'm a travel addict. I love having fun and meeting new people. Me encanta hablar, practicar y aprender Español. I love living in and learning about new cultures and languages. I'm just following my dreams and wherever they take me on this wild ride.

PHILOSOPHY

Live a life with no limits. Be spontaneous everyday. Always choose the path that makes you the happiest no matter where it takes you. Never waste a second on being sad, unhappy, angry, or upset. Appreciate your feelings and those of others, you never know what the person next to you is going through. On that note don't complain so much, there's always someone who's going through something much worse that you can't even imagine. There's plenty of time to sleep when you're dead...You've got one life, live it up!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've met a lot of people through the website being hosted and helped along in my travels and hope to meet many more people and even host a few when I can! I haven't had a bad experience yet, thankfully! I love being able to experience all the kindness there is all over the world!

Interests

Traveling. Running. Reading and learning. Speaking foreign languages. Yoga. Meeting new people. Laughing all the time.

Music, Movies, and Books

So many things from so many genres, ask me about it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Kayaking off of Peninsula Valdes in Argentina- had a whale swim under my kayak and lift the front part out of the water. The thought of this memory still makes my heart start racing.
Met the first (and at the time only) female Buddhist monk in Thailand. Riding elephants in Thailand too!
Built a house in Puerto Rico.
Crossed the world's longest tree canopy bridge in Malaysia.

Teach, Learn, Share

Traveling opens your mind to new things you can never imagine and will never expect. Traveling with a closed mind is really difficult and traveling to "hot spot" destinations will rarely teach you anything about the true culture of a place, except of course what it wants you to see. Take the effort to always step outside the borders, step outside the lines and look deep into yourself and find that place where you can be yourself and maintain your beliefs, but at the same time accept the way others see and feel things. Only then can you really be a wise traveler.

Countries I’ve Visited

Antarctica, Argentina, Australia, Chile, Ecuador, Egypt, France, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Malaysia, Mexico, Monaco, Palestine, Paraguay, Puerto Rico, Spain, Switzerland, Thailand, United Kingdom, Uruguay, Vatican City State

Countries I’ve Lived In

Argentina, Democratic Republic of Congo, Dominican Republic, Singapore
