ABOUT ME
My husband and I moved from New York City to Torrevieja and eventually found our way to Altea. I'm American, he's Spanish and we met in Paris, France. We're adjusting to the Spanish lifestyle and loving living in Europe. We're the owners of AlteArte, a cafe/bar in Altea's casco antiguo. (www.altearte.com) As a result, we don't have too much time to travel, but we'd love to meet any couchsurfers who are living in/passing through Altea! For more information about both of us, please visit my blog: http://sarawilson.wordpress.com
PHILOSOPHY
I believe in communication and respect and learning new things. I believe in signs and meaning and always try to keep a positive attitude because I believe that it is only with a positive attitude that you can achieve greatness.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Ever since we moved to Altea, we've had a constant flow of visitors so our couch is often occupied, but I'd love to meet up for coffee and show you around Altea.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I'm brand new to this whole couchsurfing community and have yet to host or be hosted, but I am truly looking forward to meeting some amazing people who share the same mission to enjoy life as I do.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I just attended the inauguration of the new train station in Liege, Belgium. I got to meet Santiago Calatrava, the architect, got a personal tour of the station and had a VIP dinner with him and the ex prime minister of Belgium. That was pretty special.
