ABOUT ME

I am a 23 year old Psychology major at Saint Mary's University in Halifax, Nova Scotia. I developed a love for travel when I was 18 and decided that in order to rebel against my parents wishes for me to attend university, the only logical option was to move to Spain and become an Aupair. I had never been outside of North America before and what I discovered while running away was my greatest passion to this day, travel. I have visited 5 American Cities, the Carribean, 4 Canadian provinces, and 12 European countries. I have studied abroad in Ireland and there rests a piece of my heart for the rest of my life, I am sure. In the future I plan on completing a Masters degree in Europe. Either in Ireland, Scotland or London (a city I have visited seven times and cannot get enough of).

This summer my plans include spending a month in Ireland to visit friends while also visiting Scotland and London. Then I will be completing the Camino de Santiago with my closest friend. Then I have open ended plans for the month of July, where ever the wind takes me I suppose.

PHILOSOPHY

I will learn more through travel than I could ever learn in a classroom.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have couch surfed 3 previous times (through friends' accounts) and have ALWAYS had an amazing experience. I cannot currently host, as I live with my parents, but I would love to one day have the option of opening my home to couch surfers so that they can experience my beautiful province, Nova Scotia.
