ABOUT ME

I’m a self-proffessed urban homesteader living in the shade of the Colorado Rocky Mountains, by way of Wisconsin and Kentucky. Hands on by nature, I spend a lot of my time nuturing half-baked ideas into reality. I was raised to believe I can do anything, and usually try to do it by myself, I’m a little stubborn that way. I have a love, bordering on obsession, for beautiful things and have been known to drool over vintage kitchenware. I’m an amatuer chef, baker, musician, artist, writer, photographer, and I can juggle. Nope. That last one was a lie. I also think I’m a comedian.

PHILOSOPHY

Personally, I think my "purpose" in life is to love as many people as I can. I believe in concious community, living intentionally with others and sustaining strong relationships.

So far I've only hosted, but I'm so thankful to have done that and can't wait to surf!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I spent a year traveling the South Central united states. In that time I surfed many a couch and met some pretty amazing people. Come to my house...I'll tell you some stories!

Music is kind of like air...I NEED it, as such I love all kinds.

I'm that person that goes to the library for one thing and comes home with stacks of books, but one of my favorites is Lamb: the Gospel according to Biff, Christ's childhood pal by Christopher Moore. It makes me laugh and is very inappropriate.

When I feel sad I watch Pride and Prejudice. When I need to laugh a lot I watch Anchorman. I like movies, and Drive-in theaters.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I spent a year living out of a van with five other people that I didn't know when the year began as part of a traveling music ministry. That year had ups and downs, but changed so much about me and allowed me to meet some amazing people!

I love being creative. I could to teach you how to brew kombucha, make mozzarella cheese or yogurt, hand dye a silk scarf, knit/crochet your very own hat, learn a few chords on the guitar, sing some children's songs...
