ABOUT ME

I'm 20 years old and I'm from Allen, TX. After growing up in the same area for 18 years, I decided it was time for a change! I get so bored staying in one location for long, so I joined the Navy after graduating early from HS. Since then, I attended a military language institute called DLI in Monterey, CA where I learned Chinese, and then lived in Hawaii for 7 months when I finally decided the Navy isn't exactly for someone like me. So, I'm out of the military 4 years earlier than expected and moving to NYC!

I love to do yoga and do just about anything outdoors. Biking, skating, running, hiking - all some of my favorite activities. I'm also into playing guitar and piano and singing. I absolutely LOVE music!

I'll eat any kind of ethnic food I'm presented with just because I love trying new things. Well, maybe not ANY, cause I fluctuate between vegetarianism and pescatarianism (I might have spelled that wrong). I can't seem to stick to being full on vegetarian.. I love sushi way too much! Haha!

Anywho.. if you like to do active things, take random adventures, and play music - we should be friends!

Oh, and I also enjoy good conversation and reading... just a side note :P

I'm a beginning CS-er. Just looking to get into the community so I can travel with and host amazing people, like you! Right now, I have no couch, but as soon as I do, I will start hosting!

I hosted an awesome girl from Germany in Nov of 09, but it wasn't through CouchSurfing.. just something similar.
