About Me

I feel very good when I'm alone, I spend most of my time in my atelier working. I regard my atelier as a kind of microcosm of the world, the way I proceed with my painting is similar to the way I try to live my life, looking for a balance between my personal intentions and leaving things to chance. But although I'm a bit like a cave bear most of the time, experimenting by myself, deep and meaningful contact with other people is absolutely fundamental to me and makes my world go around.
I like listening to people talk, I like watching them interact but mostly, I long for a good and unexpected conversation about the stuff of life, whatever that is. I'm totally committed in having a great time, seeking beauty and pleasure, and sharing it with others.
I'm a receptive person, open to all kind of experiences as they will show up in my life. I believe in pleasure and in instincts,in being a child and try never to forget the joys and misterys of my childwood. I believe in good intentions.
I value ideals and an active life in search of knowledge, love and understanding.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm here mostly because it's a way of getting to know new people, which is always an adventure by itself. I haven't done much travelling yet, but it has been wonderful to host people and I've already made some very good friends along the way.
I've also met a few couchsurfers for a walk and a drink and that usally works well.
In the future i'd like to surf too.

Interests

Reading, drawing, painting... arts in general... getting to know people's minds and hearts, ideals and philosophys... going for a walk... learning about ancient history, the workings of the brain and why people first started painting stuff in the walls of deep dark caves... and never to forget to pay lots of attention to all which is nonsensical, preposterous
and irrational, maybe even a little bit foolish... and, final but not least, cooking biscuits with loads of butter and sugar to the people I like.
