About Me

I'm a twenty-four-year-old girl from Madrid. I have studied the BA in Linguistics and Applies Languages in the Universidad Complutense de Madrid and an MA in Theoretical and Cognitive Linguistics in Leiden University. I am currently doing another MA in Spanish as a Second Language. Yes, I love languages and therefore I love people and cultures. I can be very calm and serious whenever I have, but most of the time I'm pretty silly and chatty. I even get tired of myself sometimes because I never know when to stop talking once I'm feeling confortable. Don't bring up feminism, books, art or beer... I won't be able to stop discussing about it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I guess it's one place that shows that human beings can be trusted and therefore there's hope in this fucked up world.

Interests

I'm looking forward to meeting people with whom I can share stories and crazy experiences. I love languages too, because I think it's a way of knowing different cultures and knowing them also opens your mind. Besides, I love music since I play the saxophone, the ukelele and some songs with the guitar. I love going to museums and theatres. Reading, I'm crazy about books... Whichever is usually fine.

And beer. Always beer.

Music, Movies, and Books

I can't imagine a live without music. My favourites styles are jazz, soul and R&B. I guess that is because I play the saxophone. But I love music from the 80s, pop, reggae.

What about books? I have read so many books and I wouldn't be able to write down all of them. Let's mention a few writers: Rupi Kaur, Eduardo Galeano, Orwell, Zadie Smith.

And always The Little Prince.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
