About Me
CURRENT MISSION
My current mission is to live my truth and experience more people. But practically speaking, I just returned from volunteering in Nicaragua to work the holidays at my old Novato job in order to save as much money as possible to go back!
ABOUT ME
I am very friendly and easy to get along with. I love meeting and interacting with people, and am happy to have introspective conversations or just relax and play a game of cards. I consider myself mature, responsible, and respectful of others, and am very flexible when it comes to living spontaneously or adapting to a new situation. I am definitely in a place of my life in which I am open to many new adventures!
PHILOSOPHY
Nothing is ever black and white or pure truth. We can learn from everything around us if we just look. The best thing we can do for ourselves and our world is to be authentic, to ourselves and others - we all have something different and unique to contribute, not better or less than anyone else ...
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am pretty new to CS, and would love to be able to host people, but I live with roommates and haven't checked with them yet, honestly. It's a possibility though!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I had a wonderful couchsurfing experience in Somoto, Nicaragua, which I would be happy to recommend to anyone in the area!

Music, Movies, and Books
I tend to like all but horror films (just because they lack depth of character and plot). And there is very little music that I do not like, however recently I have been playing a lot of Pretty Lights, and Billy Holiday. In terms of books, I cannot narrow it down, but some of my favorite authors include Cormac McCarthy, Rick Bass, and Sue Monk Kidd.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Sliding on my bum a thousand feet down a huge-normous snow bowl from a 14,200 ft. mountain top in Colorado. A very profound experience of just letting go (it was initially a slip-fall-surprise, haha).
Teach, Learn, Share
I can do Reiki and love doing it, so I'm always up to share/trade. I also have a lot of knowledge about nutrition and fun healthy recipes. Back in the day I was an audio engineer, but I'd really have to dust those skills off to use 'em. I also know intermediate Spanish and love talking with others who are learning.
I would love to learn anything involving bodywork, yoga, dance, food, meditation and healing, working on cars or otherwise using tools, and hey, just about anything.
