About Me

Hi world!

I'm a northern gal newly living in the south. I've lived in several places all over the U.S. since graduating high school. I'm loving living in new places and meeting new people. Hoping to share that experience with others!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Looking to connect with people who are my area for various lengths of time. I'm also hoping to connect with other couchsurfers through my own traveling experiences.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

As a surfer: I surfed my first time in August 2013 in Anchorage, Alaska. My host was great. Kelvin took my friend and I camping and clamming and other places in Alaska. He let us stay for an entire week and made us feel very comfortable. We are so appreciative of him for making our Alaska experience what it was.

As a host: I hosted a couchsurfer in May 2013. The guy seemed really nice when we talked online, but I felt very much unappreciated when he got here - didn't even receive a "thank you." Anyway, not letting that first experience let me down. My roommates and I are typically open to and feel comfortable in hosting prospective or visiting graduate students at Rutgers. I may be looking to surf myself in the near future.
