ABOUT ME

I grew up outside of a small town in rural Canada. I've always loved traveling though. When I was 15 years old I went to Sion, Switzerland on an exchange for three months - ever since then I can't get enough of different places! I studied public health and global development for a semester at the University of Copenhagen and tried to see as many places as I could in that time. Right now I am working in Calgary Alberta so if you're in town let me know and we can meet up!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

It is great way to get to meet new people and experience a place the way a local would, while still getting to do some of the touristy things.
Even though I can't host right now I love showing people around and meeting CSers; it's a really great community!

Intereses

I like sports - I'm not very good at them, but they're fun! I snowboard, run, play Ultimate Frisbee, and I used to play rugby and snow football!

I also love love love music - pretty much every (except rap and country) and always want to hear something new. I also play classical piano, and sing (only in the car or shower).

Food: I like to eat. I really like to try new foods as well, and as far as I know I don't have any allergies so everything is on the menu! I'm not the best cook, but I like experimenting!

Música, películas y libros

Movies: historical-based films are my favourite, but Disney cartoons and romantic comedies also rank in the top. Horror films are a big no for me.

Music: chill music like Mumford and Sons, Jack Johnson, Iron and Wine, Ben Harper, Milow, etc. is my favourite! I like a wide variety of music though: Tegan and Sara, Imogen Heap, Metric, almost anything but rap and country.

Books: A Brave New World, 1984, The Last Thing on my List, and anything by Khaled Hosseini or Jodi Picoult.
