I am a personable, down-to-earth, and outgoing student that loves laughing with new people and exploring new places. I have definitely caught the travel bug, and am constantly curious about new cultures and places. My adaptable and flexible personality makes the travel experience very natural for me, which is probably why I love it so much.

I have never couchsurfed before! I think its a wonderful idea, and would love to try it out as soon as possible.

Interests

I try to spend as much time in the sun as possible. This means both spending time with friends at a cafe in the city or hiking up a mountain trail. I do enjoy the company of close friends, but at the same time I love making new friends! Specific interests include contemporary art, outdoor pursuits, indie-folk music, yoga, environmental studies, poetry, and film. My favorite days are spent with good people doing or talking about some of these things.

Some good books: Just Kids, The Historian, Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance, Cutting for Stone, Lord of the Rings, The Glass Castle, etc. etc.

Movies I would watch over and over: Lord of the Rings, The Lion King, Zoolander, Almost Famous, Clueless, Silence of the Lambs, Friday the 13th, and The Royal Tannenbaums

Some Music I like: Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, Jack White, Dr. Dre, Jungle, The Kooks, Common, David Bowie, The Decemberists, Dr. Dog, Earth Wind and Fire, The Flaming Lips, and so many more!
