My work involves working with families who have experienced trauma and are often in crisis. I have many interests and activities including: local politics, community building, civic engagement, learning about people's challenges, public and group process, cultures, history, yoga, hiking, kayakig, traveling, cooking

Grew up in VT, Went to college in Northern California.

I often travel to Montreal to visit my boyfriend’s and friends.

PHILOSOPHY

Don't think I have really considered what my personal philosophy is. Right now, I'm thinking it has to do with continually balancing an honest and empathetic view on things. I try to look consider both an immediate current situation as well as the long term. Is that a philosophy...not sure.

The reason I am on Couchsurfing is to learn different perspectives and experiences from people regarding social and economic issues that are becoming more and more apparent and learn about different ways to respond.
