About Me
Hey there, I'm Sarah, I'm 28, and I live in Paris.
I recently quit my job to take a break and I'm currently slowly travelling in Asia for about a year, without flying, mainly taking trains, buses and hitchhiking, trying to minimize as much as I can my environmental footprint 🌿
People is what's driving my current trip. I simply love people. Either meeting locals and getting to understand their culture, their history, how they live, what they eat, how they party ... or simply having ordinary conversations with them. But also meeting other travellers (mainly open-minded and conscious ones).
It doesn't mean I'm 100% extrovert haha. I sometimes enjoy (and need) my own company to recharge my batteries :)
I spend a big part of my time asking myself (too many) questions. And travelling doesn't help on that part haha !
Apart from that, I love outdoor sports (hiking, running, cycling), art (currently learning water painting), yoga, dancing, talking about feminism and ecology. But I also love simple things like good food and good company.
Oh and I love travelling, but I guess as many of us here ! It nourishes my soul, opens my mind, and makes me feel alive ✨
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
When travelling somewhere, I'm not into visiting all the must-sees anymore. What interests me the most is to meet the locals, get to understand their culture and history, and to LIVE the place. CS is perfect for that !

Music, Movies, and Books
My musical palette is very wide, it goes from 2000s RnB to techno :)
I like many kinds of movies. I have something for spy movies and series. I just hate American action movies !
Not gonna lie, I'm not a book lover. I read in a practical way, when I need to learn about something, so I mainly read essays.
