I am passionate about adventure, traveling, trying new things, and the arts. I love singing and dancing and the outdoors. I have been working as a teacher on a tall ship (pirate ship) teaching science, history, and more. I have my teaching credential now and taught theater in Russia last summer and this summer I will be a theater director in Cazorla, Spain. Its my goal to have visited as many countries as I am old...or maybe a few more :)

I am passionate about travel and meeting new people. I will be moving out of my apt for the summer, so I can't host until I return from traveling, but I would love to meet people along the road!

I really enjoy getting to know people and prefer having a local contact rather than blindly touring some new city. I genuinely love to hear everyone's story, so let me hear yours!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have been paying to work... its called student teaching! :( Before I get a full time job, I want to travel some more. I will be teaching theater at a camp in Spain and the salary barely covers my flight and traveling solo before and after. I would love to meet people along the way to share memories with as well, rather than just keeping to myself.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In the summer I lead camps for kids to Catalina Island. The camp is on an old tall ship. One of the kids was from Taiwan. I ended up talking to her family and living with them for 3 months in Taiwan, finding work during the day and traveling and then tutoring them in the evenings. It was a little scary to just go, but it was an amazing three months!

I love sharing stories and learning new things. I can teach you a lot about science, dance, and more! I have some pretty funny stories too.

If you visit in California I can take you surfing, sailing, and whale watching for FREE! Not to mention that I love showing people around Southern California and recommending places to visit and ways to get there. I have had many friends visit from Europe and Asia.

I can show them that people from California are awesome, and not always like what you see in movies.
