Présentation
À propos de moi
I’m outgoing, easy to talk to, goes with the territory being from NY. I’m a trained forensic anthropologist, if you don’t know what it is host me and I’ll tell you about it. I’m a PhD student currently, getting it in human evolution and anthropology. I played football (soccer) most of my life and generally love it. I love to experience different cultures and people. I also have a deep love and respect for people of all cultures and background. I love to travel and have done a fair bit and love what I’ve learned and experienced so far. Also... listen... I know Trump is a jackass. I didn’t vote for him, most of us hate him. I’m sorry. :(
Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing
I’m here to enrich my experience in foreign cities. Why not intermingle with local people who actually know what places have to offer than blindly bumble through cities?! Travel smarter and with better company not mention l’m always on a budget. But I have had great experiences in the past intermingling with locals and although I’m new to Couchsurfing I’ve heard great things about its ability to do just this. So this is important to me.
Centres d'intérêt
Forensic anthropology, archaeology, traveling, baking, music, learning about the local cultures, cool places to go that are more local hot spots, exploring places off the beaten path, finding a superb wine or beer or whiskey. I love whiskey! Trying all the local food too! I’m totally a foodie! Point me to all the great food places!

Morceaux de musique, films et livres
I’m a bit of an old soul in some ways, my absolute favorite band is Fleetwood Mac, and my favorite singer is Stevie Nicks. If you like older 60s, 70s rock that’s definitely in my wheel house. However I also love pretty much everything, I’m eclectic: Beyoncé, Halsey, Reggaeton, Latin music ( I lived in Mexico City for a while), Milky Chance, AnnenMayKantereit etc.
Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue
TWO amazing things: I’ve found a 13.5 million year old fossil of a ancient species of antelope in the Kenyan dessert AND discovered a new bee species while I was there for field school.
Enseignez, apprenez, partagez
I love to bake! That’s actually the way I destress so I’d be happy to share a recipe with you. I also generally enjoy cooking. I really love traveling and swapping cultural experiences and knowledge. We are never so great that we can’t afford to learn more. I love history and study anthropology so I’m always down to teach people about some cool things regarding that or some awesome stuff regarding forensics. I also love make up as well so if you are too then maybe we can swap eyeliner tips.
Ce que j'aimerais partager avec mes hôtes
Please see the teach learn share section! But recipes, forensics knowledge and stories, anthropology knowledge and stories, traveling stories, make up tips, and also I speak Spanish so if you’re learning I’m always looking to stay sharp on it so please speak with me!
