About Me
I feel at a cross-roads in life and I've decided to kick off this new chapter by seeing much more of the world and its amazing human beings :D Just finished seven years of study in Wellington, New Zealand, and ready for new adventures.
I make a good companion for a variety of activities: I would love to talk about history, politics, your philosophy on life and good books over a glass of wine in front of a cosy fire, but I'm equally at home raving till the wee hours ;)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm solo travelling from July to November this year and as much as I love seeing the world on my own two feet, I struggle with the emotional rollercoaster that comes with travelling alone. One minute can feel sad and lonely and the next minute you've made an incredible friend and off on some amazing adventure!
I'm on couchsurfing because I'm dying to break through the glass wall that's separated me from some of the incredible places I've visited. I see but haven't connected and I would love to make a real human connection with people who call the place home. It's all of those as-yet un-met friends that gets me most excited about travelling.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like drum & bass, trap, dubstep, a bit of trashy r'n'b, contemporary house, Michael Jackson, Queen, Fleetwood Mac, Prince, the modern composer Max Richter and the not-so-modern Vivaldi ... a crazy mish-mash.
I loved Arrival and Interstellar. Old favourites would have to include The Lives of Others, Pans Labyrinth, Contact and Shaun of the Dead. I'm a massive Star Wars fan and I love me a bit of Rick and Morty.
I read an incredible novel called the Last of the Just by André Schwarz-Bart recently and I've fallen completely in love with Elena Ferrante.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Volunteer teaching English in Vietnam a few years ago. During which my green-behind-the-ears 18-year old self was robbed of all her possessions and embarked on a 17-hour train mission to get a new passport.
