About Me
I'm from metro Detroit. I married the man of my dreams & I'm looking to start a family of my own sometime soon. I enjoy traveling to new and exciting places, even if they are only a few miles from my current home. I have an a four year art degree and I'm currently trying to start my own online business.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
This year I have taken a cross country road trip, and soon I'll be visiting Las Vegas for the first time. I'm looking forward to making new friends and seeing great sites along the way. I'd also like to connect with other couch surfers in my area, maybe we can meet up for a craft beer, or to check out a new antique shop together.

Music, Movies, and Books
As far as music goes, I enjoy a wide variety. I'll listen to mostly rock like the Arctic Monkeys, Jimi Hendrix, The Zombies, Elvis, Ben Folds, Sublime, Reel Big Fish, Flogging Molly, REO Speedwagon, Billy Joel, The Postal Service, Pomplamoose, Andrew McMahon, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Switchfoot, Metric, Radiohead, Queen, The White Stripes, etc... but I also love motown hits, musicals, classical, hymns, and I'm pretty open to finding new tunes.
Big Fish is my favorite movie. I also like anything with Jim Sturgess, classic movies, comedies, and documentaries.
I'll read pretty much any book I can get my hands on.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I traveled to Greece for a short study abroad program. It was one of the most enriching experiences I've had in life. It was amazing to see the variations between the different islands. Walking through the ancient ruins and pondering about all the people who've stepped or sat or gazed in the same places I was gave me a great sense of nostalgia. Being somewhere so different from my own home was both exciting and terrifying, but everyone I met welcomed me with warm hearts and open arms.
Teach, Learn, Share
If you're around my part of town, I can show you all the best spots to find used books, craft beers, german food, antiques, and vintage clothing.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm a crafty gal, who always has a good book in my bag. I can cook some pretty fun vegan dishes. I can teach you all about vintage clothing, what to buy & what to pass on, how old an item is, and even some fun trivia.
