Currently live in France and traveling Europe. Growing up I lived part time in Chicago, training to become a black belt and world champion in karate. I've always loved karate, dance, competitive cheer, art, drawing, painting, and photography. Later I learned to love cooking and baking :) After high school, I studied Psychology in Los Angeles and spent my last semester at the Sorbonne in Paris. After that I moved back home to Maine and worked in a Mental Health center to help refugees and immigrants from Africa and the Middle East. I now am living in Southern France as an English teaching nanny (au pair) and studying economics and nutrition. Speak English and French but would love to learn Spanish, Portuguese, Chinese, Japanese, and Arabic, as these languages have also touched my life in personal ways, from working with Spanish speaking immigrants in LA, having Brazilian and Chinese best friends, watching Anime, and helping Arabic speaking refugees!

I want to travel to make new friends! On my travels, I want to be with a host who wants to hang out for the day, do things together, see what we have in common, try fun new things together etc!!! I believe any two people have the potential to be great friends, and that life is most interesting when you try new things.
