About Me
My story is sooo looong! Don't even know where to start here haha.. I came to Australia as an exchange student in 2016. 4 years later and I am still here, ooops!! Best thing I have ever done in my life, apart from my BA (Hons) degree in London, UK.
I am native German/Italian but bilingual in German/English only (so weird, I know!) = I understand more reading and writing than I can actually speak :( Also, I admit that I am not a 5* menu chef, but I can bake like a queen! BUT: be my guest, be my guest, put my skills to the test, I'm happy to provide you with a perhaps basic but delicious dinner if you accept my request :)
Extroverted optimist always on the lookout for a quick adventure or a cheeky weekend getaway, I hate missing out on opportunities! I would consider myself as easy-going and lively, yet quite invisible from time to time, especially when university deadlines are approaching me as fast as I book flights on a Monday night^^ I am low maintenance, respectful and mindful of other people and their space. Also: I am MAD ABOUT FOOTY! Huuuge Melbourne Storm supporter which also inspired me to write a children's ABC book about them (will be published soon! somewhen during 2020). Footy is my "religion" and I ALWAYS use it for a good excuse to travel :P Apart from that I am down to earth, mature and polite and a positive optimist who is tidy and considerate. No hooligan or party animal whatsoever! At this point I should note that I am not into alcohol at all, it's just not my type of drink. I stick to the healthy responsible-driver-water :) Overall, I am a people person and very sociable, I love gatherings and places with loads of people, good music and food make my days perfect! If I am not lost in the woods as usual, you can probably find me on a dance floor. I'm sometimes back before 3am though, because I love me a good sunrise at the beach or a great view from the top of the mountain in the early morning hours, otherwise I'll say aaayyyooo, daylight come and I don't wanna go homeee :D Or walk out of the club directly to the beach to watch the sunrise.. Best move ever! Oh, before I forget: I LOVE dogs! If you have a pet, you might risk her or him being kidnapped for cuddles and snuggles :)
When I am not working, I am usually studying (MSc Applied Positive Psychology) or working (educator, author, nanny, babysitter, translator, ..) which I love doing with all my heart <3 I am also super interested in positive psychology, human behaviours and researching people and love connecting with like-minded people!
= traveller at heart, infected by wanderlust :) my IG is @girlalmighty93!
