I'm an artist (music, painting, singing, dancing, songwriting, bit of a crafter), general learning enthusiast, always interested in peoples' stories (because everybody has them). I'm social but definitely not a partier. Not an alcohol drinker. The thought of settling down makes my throat constrict; I'm not afraid of dying, just afraid of not living while I'm alive.

I have over 30 different types jobs in the last 20 years (including retail business owner, personal support worker, gardener), so I'm useful in a lot of practical ways.

I did a social services/police/corrections program at college this past year; I have a clear criminal background (I will be traveling with a police background check from August 2016). No charges since then :) (not planning on acquiring any). Never had points put on my driver's licence. Not looking for a hookup.

Any genre of music really....grew up on rock, classical...hip hop, country, jazz, it's all a gift. Every genre has gold and garbage.

Movies...docs, comedy, sci-fi, not so much heavy fantasy (a la Lord of the Rings) or hard action

Books....fiction or non is cool. Currently on vol. 1 of Boccacio's Decameron

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

...was skating a half-pipe at a park at night about 10 years ago. My front wheels hit the coping just as the park lights went out. I managed to keep calm and just ride it out. Pretty proud of this moment.
